About blueChrome hostingWe're a very simple operation. We provide hosting services--from the fairly basic and static to well-powered and dynamic--for the informed user. That is, we're not a gigantic hosting company with a gazillion different servers in some server farm in Rhode Island with 25 guys in white static-free suits that run around and check the stats every 20 minutes, swap out hard drives and water the plants. Not even close, really. We're basically "not a hosting company" company. We have our set packages, but we may be able to fit a specific need for you--just ask. We don't provide "live" help of any kind--no telephones, no instant messenger or other methods beyond our Support Ticket System. We work to respond within 24 hours or less--and mostly less--so you can be back to doing whatever it is that you do with your web space. We don't offer you lofty percentages for "guaranteed uptime", but we do promise that, unless it is absolutely essential to the well being of the server, we will not reboot the server or perform any upgrades that will interrupt service during peak times, and even then we work to ensure that our sleep loss is your gain and that downtime is reserved to a minimum. We work with some pretty cool clients, and we strive to keep it that way. We expect you to have pretty decent level of understanding for what you need and how to use it, but we're happy to answer some questions--we're just not your at-home tech support to help you get your Outlook up and running. Basically, you pay for your service in 3-month increments (plus a 1-time, non-refundable $5 set-up fee) and don't abuse the system (SPAM, pornographic sites, illegal activities, etc. all result in a cancellation of your account with no refunds) and we all live in blissful harmony. It's kind of nice like that. |
